Calix offers heating solutions for electric vehicles.

Electric vehicles need heating of battery, cab and other vital compnents and systems. We have key off-soluions (AC) and key-on solutions (DC). Calix also offers 115/230V AC solutions and low voltage DC (12-48V) solutions. We tailor make solutions to meet your needs.

Low voltage heating

Most EV’s have a low voltage system (12V/24V) to power everything besides the EV’s traction system. Calix offers solutions to integrate cab, battery and component heating into the vehicle’s low voltage system.

Pre-heating EV

It is possible to extend the range of an EV by pre-heating the battery or the cab before taking off. Our tests have shown 20% increased range with Calix’s well proven heating systems, which are as useful on an EV as on a diesel or petrol vehicle.

Oil heaters EV

Heavy EV’s often have oil filled sub-systems. Our oil heaters for Electric Vehicles help maintain optimal working temperatures in oil filled axles, transmissions or hydraulic systems.
